See You Soon is a poignant, beautifully illustrated story of a little girl’s worries when her Mama goes to jail, and the love that bridges the distance between them.
Join Mariame Kaba and Bianca Diaz to celebrate the release of their new children's book "See You Soon."
This event will include a reading of the book by children, a short presentation by Bianca featuring the book's art, a discussion about the special issues faced by children with incarcerated mothers, a raffle, a give away and more.
Children ages 6 to 10 are invited to join the event from 2 to 2:30 pm ET.
From 2:45 to 3:30 pm ET, people 16 years old and over are invited to join us for a discussion about issues faced by children with incarcerated mothers. We will be joined by currently and formerly incarcerated moms.
We will also be making a special announcemenent about an exciting virtual program for children 6 to 10 years old.
